Spoken Giants welcomes Myq Kaplan

After the year we’ve had, the phrase “new normal” doesn’t quite fit the bill—according to comedian Myq Kaplan, it’s more like the “new weird.” With boyish charm and droll deadpanning, Myq uses stand-up to explore all the intricacies of our wonderfully weird society and keeps audiences coming back for more. He’s a can’t-miss act that Spoken Giants is thrilled to welcome to the team.

Myq’s comedic talent has unsurprisingly landed him a number of noteworthy TV appearances, including The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Conan, Letterman, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Late Night with Seth Meyers, Comedy Central, NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and America’s Got Talent. He also has an hour-long stand-up special on Amazon Prime, Small, Dork, and Handsome, as well as two podcasts—The Faucet and Broccoli and Ice Cream.

Myq’s two comedy albums, Vegan Mind Meld and A.K.A., have also seen their share of success. The former was one of iTunes’ top 10 comedy albums of the year and the latter debuted at number one with high praise from the NY Times. Included among its five “Coronavirus Best New Comedy Specials,” the Times called A.K.A. “invigoratingly funny.”
